AmpliAqua is not just a research project. It is a concrete response to the most urgent challenges in global food production.

MISSION & VISION

Mission & Vision

AmpliAqua’s mission is to accelerate the transition to more sustainable, circular and resilient food systems by integrating aquaculture, agriculture and biotechnology.

We create global impact by demonstrating and scaling solutions that reduce environmental footprint, regenerate natural resources and enable economically viable production models.

A world where

Food production regenerates instead of depleting

Technology and nature work together.

Innovation is also responsibility.

SUSTAINABILITY & INNOVATION

Where science becomes solution.

At our industrial-scale R&D unit in Nazaré, we develop, test and validate technologies that address the real challenges of food production. Not in a lab — at pre-commercial scale, under nearmarket conditions.

Our approach combines recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), bioponics, microalgae, microbial bioprocesses and advanced digital monitoring. Technologies integrated into a single system, designed to be replicated and scaled.

Circularity

Every resource is valued. Every byproduct has a purpose. Nothing is wasted.

Regeneration

Reducing impact is not enough, we must reverse the damage and restore to ecosystems what has been taken from them.

Applied Innovation

From research to market. We validate solutions in real environments so they go further, faster.

PARTNERS & COLLABORATIONS

Built in partnership. Scaled together.

AmpliAqua does not exist alone. Our network of scientific, technological and financial partners is a fundamental part of what we do — and how we go further.
